The 31-year-old returns having gained valuable experience in a full-time environment and comes back eager to get stuck in right where he left off. Speaking on his return, Jamie highlighted the importance of the club’s family feel: “It’s the family club that I love about the Swifts. It just feels right being back.” He also acknowledged the influence of manager Rodney McAree in his decision: “Rodney was the reason I went to Coleraine, and now he’s the reason I’m back at Stangmore.” Now a father of two, Jamie feels that life at the Swifts suits him perfectly at this stage of his career, and everyone at the club is excited to see him back in blue. Daniel has represented Northern Ireland at U15, U16 & U17 level and heads to Spain next week with the U17s. A key part of Dungannon Swifts NI Cup-winning and Cross-Border Championship teams, Daniel will remain with DSFC for the remainder of the season while completing his studies before joining the London club.
