It would be transitionary, and staggered, immediately going from paying below minimum wage to having to increase labor spend would result in radically inflated costs so to offset this and allow farms to plan ahead this could be a strategy to get to where we need to be without causing issues to the public We have to admit it is messed up and there isn’t one magic trick to fix it (unless we just want a couple mega corps doing all farming, suppose that could work and they’d have more ability to transition without aid, I’m open to other ideas, open forum here)
