With peace in Uganda came development, which Sironko now enjoys under the NRM government. The industrial parks in places like Mbale are transforming our towns from mere trading centres into hubs of production. We have built key roads such as Mbale–Kapchorwa–Karamoja and Bumbobi–Lwakhaka, and we are preparing to work on Namagumba–Budadiri–Nalugugu. Eighty-nine percent of Sironko’s villages now have safe water, and we are upgrading health centres so every sub-county has at least a Health Centre III. Mwanyaala naabi Bamasaba!
