NWKS Teachers will learn how to structure their classrooms, lesson plans, and teaching strategies to successfully support English learners. There are 3 separate workshops in this series. Pick one or more as needed to support your preparations for the ESOL Praxis.

It's easy for us as adults and even our students to make a plan. However, what can be challenging is putting that plan into action, monitoring how the plan is working, making necessary adjustments to our plan & reflecting on the overall outcome. Join us 6-8 to learn more.

Navigating the many aspects of teaching is challenging for new teachers. This workshop focuses on helping novice educators gain knowledge of how to implement classroom routines and procedures and engagement strategies related to content delivery. bit.ly/3fCOHvC

We invite you to attend this teacher training to understand the inquiry-based state assessment and be prepared to report your student scores. All grades can use the rubrics throughout the school year in every social studies classroom. All grades will eventually be tested.
