Increasing FoV is a cornerstone of modern user experience, so I added it. Since there's no one-size-fits-all solution for FoV, I made it change every few seconds so that as many people as possible will enjoy their preferred FoV at least some of the time.



In addition to the triple A graphics improvement found deeper in this thread, I've also made several key improvements to gameplay to add everything a modern gamer needs. Paths and items are now clearly marked, items have rarity, and achievements are everywhere.

Rhythm games are very popular, so I added DDR. Preemptive condolences to whoever has to dance their way through the gauntlet.



Reduced visibility is a very important aspect of successful horror games, so I copied how Darkwood did it. If you aren't facing an enemy, you have no idea where they are or what they're doing. They're just invisible to you.
