@em203mzhang Hi Maggie, I completely agree. I think that the constant innovation of technology has allowed us to communicate with each other in an unlimited amount of ways. Growing up in the 21st century has ensured that technology will be an essential part of our lives.

Within the past few weeks, I've learned how technology plays a critical role in our daily lives. Not only does it help to connect us all but everyone learns and interprets information differently through multi-media platforms! #EM203Robin

@EM203TGuo Hi Teresa, I agree with your point that we rely heavily on the internet. It's become a necessity today and it's hard to imagine what it would be like without it. In terms of interactive activities and diagrams, I feel that elementary classrooms may find those examples beneficial.

So far in #EM203Robin, I have realized that we heavily rely on the internet. We learn so much by just simply googling something. There also many other ways to learn from the internet that we don't use as often, such as interactive activities and diagrams.

@em203hecimovic I agree with you that the prevalence of social media in today's society impacts the way we interact with each other, as well as the way in which we gather information. Apps like Snapchat and Twitter have become a form of . news outlets where we can retrieve information easily.

So far in #EM203Robin , i have learned how social media has changed the way we interact in society. The easy accessibility to information that we can quickly search on the internet has changed the way society develops relationships and teaching approaches.

@DanielG26701402 Hi Daniel, I too found it very difficult to focus when doing the experiment. The results of list A made me realize that even the smallest distraction can make a difference when trying to retain information.

In #EM203Robin I have learned that our attention is incredibly divided, today we did an experiment and I saw how many distractions exist. I also learned about the various learning theories, how they are applied, and that I am a constructivist learner.

So far in EM203, I have really enjoyed understanding new types of learning models and how learning has been impacted by new technology. One of the interesting things I learned about was connectivism and how it impacts learning in the digital age #EM203Robin

#EM203Robin In these three weeks I have learned about how the internet has changed the way we gather information, as well as how the theory of behaviourism impacts teaching and learning approaches. Also this week's activity showed that distractions impact our short-term memory.
