@DylPar252 It became clear during the debate at AC that the Conf was exercising a power it clearly has, but almost never uses. If we knew how to be more consistently proactive, an instance like this wouldn't seem so jarring.

I understand why, to an outside or uninformed UM observer, this looks like the Conf "taking their church." Except in our polity, it's not their church.
Argue about whether it's justified, but imo good on a Conference making strategic decisions with their buildings for once

@Allen_David I don’t care that much. I get they’re trying to make it more exciting and have more quality ABs with Universal DH, so why would you cut the legs off of that strategy?

MLB will use the Atlantic League as its rule-change test lab again. This year's rules: *Designated pinch runner. Can enter at any time, then return later. *A one-disengagement rule (it's two in MLB). *The return of the Double Hook! If the starter exits early, so does the DH.
