24 years ago, New York faced its darkest day. We lost thousands of innocent lives, and the heroes who ran toward danger to save others, knowing they would likely not return. We remember them, we honor them, and we continue to stand with the survivors, families & first responders who still bear the scars of that fateful day.

Public safety is the foundation of prosperity. When New York is safe, businesses thrive and families grow. Our public safety officers run toward danger every day to protect us, and they deserve to know we have their backs. My opponents don’t see it that way. They want to defund the police, release repeat offenders, and empty our jails. That’s not the future New Yorkers deserve.

No better way to spend Labor Day Sunday than at Coney Island, where we rode the Cyclone, swung by Nathan’s & talked with New Yorkers from every borough. This city’s strength is its people, and together we can build a safer, fairer, more affordable New York — a new New York for all who live here.
