This case study from UK, provided by The GWCT Allerton Project, highlights how robust measurement of greenhouse gas emissions in the field feeds evidence into the Nitrogen Efficient Plants for Climate Smart Arable Cropping Systems (NCS) initiative. Half way through the @Gameandwildlife Big Farmland Bird Count #BFBC we took the chance to use the brief respite in the rain yesterday to do our count. Not an ideal time of day, but still had some encouraging sightings
