Good to be at the @APPGWriters Winter Reception yesterday celebrating authors and the huge contribution they make to the creative sector. Their copyright must be respected and valued through licensing and AI transparency so they may continue to create and flourish within our creative economy.

A warm reminder of the interconnectedness of the creative industries and how British creators are at the forefront of innovation driving everyday UK success stories.

Watching the tense Liverpool v Arsenal game yesterday and can’t help appreciate the successful use and rollout of VAR. Through the development of the semi-automated offside system with the @premierleague and @GeniusSports, VAR has now been adopted around the world because other leagues know it has been trained on licensed data.
