Lovely long weekend in the Peak District. Had a Tiguan eHybrid for it. Real range of about 55 miles on a charge. Sadly not able to charge at our cottage and public charging is so spenny you're better off sticking petrol in. 45mpg with no charge ain't bad for a 272hp family bus.

Started giving thumbs up to people driving interesting cars. Tonight’s recipient was someone in a Mitsubishi Eclipse (the convertible one from 2 Fast 2 Furious that no one liked).

About 265 miles of range if you bang cruise on at 70. Loses points for constantly telling me to take a break on my commute home even after turning all the nonsense off. Also, I've yet to drive the Elroq, so perhaps a premature call. Let's just say the EV3 is very, very good.

spent the morning trying to decide on a new daily driver, I bought this E61 5 years ago as a stop gap whilst I fixed my A6. Ended up keeping it. Quite tired now... Can't think anything that will a better job other than another one in slightly better spec

That mid-engined Toyota Yaris M Concept looks pretty cool.

Saw the new Mazda 6e a few months ago, but if you live in China this’ll be old news as it’s been on sale there for a while under the ‘EZ-6’ name. We’ll have to wait until 2026 for it in the UK…
