Looking back on this is crazy because did Jax actually think or try and convince himself that Kaufmo caused Ribbit’s abstraction because he interrupted them when Jax was opening up to Ribbit? Then in turn Jax closed himself off from her and Kaufmo because he felt he overshared and became too vulnerable with Ribbit? If anyone caused their abstractions it was Jax. Dude literally can’t take any responsibility, or at least didn’t until he abstracted and it was too late.

it really begs the question of WHY jax is so resentful towards kaufmo. even in the pilot, he isnt very bothered by him abstracting. My theory is Jax, Ribbit, and Kaufmo got into an argument that led Ribbit to abstract, and Jax partially blames kaufmo- (and himself)

Call me crazy but I’m still very much a believer of Goose dramatically changing the story after EP4 I don’t think it’s a coincidence Jax begins getting significantly more focus, and Ribbit is only shown in the same episode after which Goose admits to changing the scripts lmao
