Akontombra Methodist Primary A school needs GH¢100 to buy books.
The school doesn't have GH¢100, so the headmaster, at PTA, borrows GH¢100 from the parents at 25% interest.
Then the headmaster uses that money to buy books AND to pay the parents back the interest.
Every year, the school loses more money trying to keep the books.
But everyone says, "Look at our nice books!"
That's what NDC's Bank of Ghana is doing. Except it's your money, not books.
