One word: BREATHTAKING!! ✨Last night I was given the tremendous honor of being inducted into the Speaker Hall of Fame by the National Speakers Association.
It is the lifetime achievement award in our industry. What a magnificent gift—and a confirmation for my 15 years of devotion to this craft that I adore. I was so tenderly uplifted and in awe for weeks after I first got the call.
This award is called the CPAE—Council of Peers Award for Excellence—and it is awarded by peers in the speaking industry to those who have reached the top echelon of performance and professionalism. They look at integrity, message, delivery, experience and so much more. Less than 260 CPAE’s have ever been awarded—and fewer than 65 women of all time.
My heart is radiating with profound gratitude. I feel so humbled to stand on the shoulders of giants who received this award before me, like: Zig Ziglar, Ronald Reagan, Les Brown, Harvey Mackay, Nido R. Qubein, Brian Tracy MBA, Jack Canfield, Colin Powell, Norman Vincent Peale, Rosita Perez, Ken Blanchard, Og Mandino, and others.
💫 Pivoting my career from visual art to speaking was a phenomenal leap of faith! Yet, I discovered that speaking IS also an art form……like painting and sculpture. I invest the same loving care and passion for detail into my speeches as I have with my artwork.
It is a delight to weave together each chosen word, every expression, every pause and intonation—in a beautiful and impactful way—creating, perfecting, and sharing a message from my heart to yours. ❤️
