New Artwork! If I Didn't Care pixels.com/featured/if-i-… An artist friend of mine created an image based on a song by The Ink Spots. She posted the image and the song with the lyrics, “I don’t want to set the world on fire, I just want to start a flame in your heart,” from 1939. I loved the lyrics! They caught my attention! Not being familiar with the song or the group, I immediately looked up The Ink Spots and listened to the song. I loved the bluesy song and started listening to more of their songs. This song resonated with me, and I painted this image while listening to the song “If I Didn’t Care.” If I Didn’t Care The Ink Spots If I didn’t care more than words can say If I didn’t care, would I feel this way? If this isn’t love then why do I thrill? And what makes my head go ‘round and ‘round While my heart stands still? If I didn’t care, would it be the same? Would my every prayer begin and end with just your name? And would I be sure that this is love beyond compare?
