@FCFleetTown Score a penalty that shouldn’t have been a penalty, miss a penalty that was a penalty, concede in the 90th minute to 10 men. Really could not write it🫠
@WorriedFleetFan@FCFleetTown Mistakes that happen over and over again aren’t mistakes, they’re a regular occurrence. Perhaps due to ability (or lack of). One man that doesn’t lack ability - that man Pes. Can see him potentially returning in a player/coach capacity potentially in the new year?
@FCFleetTown Totally agree with @Allthingsftfc
minimising mistakes is crucial especially when we need to make play offs.. lacking experience maybe… Liam pestle springs to mind. Leagues above everyone last year defensively and vocally.

@FCFleetTown This has gone slightly off script from the normal interviews? How can we drop points and it not be the refs fault or the pitch? Definitely a step in the right direction for me. Need more than effort from the players in order to get in the play offs though #playersplayrunnersrun
@FCFleetTown If Pestle wasn’t the man for the managers job, he’s most definitely the man to fix this leaky defence. Didn’t concede half the amount of chances last season #bringbackpes
@WorriedFleetFan@FCFleetTown Really swift appointment. Can’t help but notice he was appointed rather swiftly after the departure of the previous manager. I hope this wasn’t happening behind his back…
Fleet Town FC are pleased to announce Warren Burton as our new First Team Manager with immediate effect. Warren is already well known to the squad and supporters, having spent most of this season as Assistant Manager. His appointment provides important continuity and stability at a crucial stage of the campaign.
We are also delighted to confirm that Simon Payne returns to the club as Assistant Manager, further strengthening the first-team staff and helping ensure a seamless transition for the players.
Warren brings strong experience to the role. A former manager of Epsom & Ewell FC and a former Step 2 player with Dulwich Hamlet, Carshalton and Molesey, he rejoins us after a short spell as Assistant Manager at Horley Town. Not many will know he also played for the Blues during our time in the old Dr Martens Southern League.
We look forward to building on the foundations already in place and working closely with Warren, Simon and the squad as we push on for the remainder of the season.
To our amazing fans thank you for your support and lets get behind the new Gaffer - see you Tuesday for our short trip to Alton.

@WorriedFleetFan@FCFleetTown It was over after the dreaded vote of confidence the other day!! Definitely need that team spirit back around the place and there’s only one man for it and that’s Liam Pestle for me. That man bleeds blue and knows what the club means to the community #bringbackpes
@FCFleetTown So what’s next then? Out the Vase and 7th! We really need someone to push us on if we want to make the play offs! Bring back Liam Pestle #PestleIn
