@_ll313ll It can be tough to dress cute where I live. People can be rude and occasionally even violent, but I wear it anyway because I love it. I usually dress like this when I go to a specific store or event and not out on the street as it's safer.

@Ms_Nofriends I started sewing as a teenager so I also had no money lol, I got my supplies from thrift stores. An old bedsheet can make a great dress! Though I was lucky as I could use my mum's sewing machine. I didn't get my own until I was 21 whoops

@AllyRatSTOP There are many hobbies I wish to get into it's just having the money to start getting into the hobby is the trouble for me since I'm unemployed. I know a bit of sewing and embroidery because school but we did it manually with no machines. We only made pillows with our initials

@neurotechnician I actually copied an Angelic Pretty dress I own lol. I lay the dress on the ground, traced around the bodice to get the curves and then the of the dress is made of rectangles so I just measured it out. Lolita dresses actually have very simple construction when you see them irl!
