Today I passed my dissertation defense. I can’t quite yet express my emotions and feelings about this journey (which is odd given my research) but I have so much gratitude for so many people and I’m so blessed. What a four years its been and not only did I survive but I thrived.

Anytime I can write about Black emotions, antiracism, education, and 🏀 it’s lit! Coupling BlackCrit and CDA we drew from Rivers and James’ discourse of duality and Black fear to offer pedagogical enactments to teachers for being and becoming antiracist. @eee_journal
