The Postmortem of Pakistan's Military Intelligence Narrative and the Testimony of JuA's Official Letterhead By Ahmad Shafaq When a country's security policy rests not on facts on the ground and solid intelligence, but on calming public anger and managing public relations, its entire narrative quickly begins to fall apart and the truth eventually comes to light. The Pakistani military circles' response to the recent attack on the Rangers' headquarters in Karachi was a clear example of this. In a rush to cover up their own intelligence failure, they tried to shift the blame onto Afghanistan. A detained man was presented in a so-called confession video to convince the Pakistani public that every armed attack inside Pakistan somehow traces back to Afghanistan. Under the cover of that narrative, the Pakistani military swiftly carried out airstrikes on the Afghan provinces of Kunar, Paktia, and Paktika, killing innocent civilians. But this propaganda story began to unravel when the accent of the man in the confession video made it clear that he was not from Afghanistan at all, but from Peshawar or its surrounding areas. The final and most damaging exposure came on June 29, 2026, when an official and well-documented statement surfaced. In the history of security and international affairs, few cases are as remarkable as this: the very armed group in question, Tehrik-e-Taliban Pakistan (Jamaat-ul-Ahrar), issued a statement on its own official letterhead that completely demolished the Pakistani state's claims. Published under the title "We Are Not in Kunar or Paktia; We Are in Pakistan, from Karachi to Khyber," the statement directly rejected the military's long-standing claim that attacks inside Pakistan are directed from Afghanistan. The statement dealt a heavy blow to the propaganda coming out of GHQ Rawalpindi. JuA openly declared that its military, organizational, and human infrastructure exists not in any neighboring country but inside Pakistan itself, and that it has no need to use Afghan territory to pursue its objectives. It even issued an open challenge to Pakistan's military leadership: if they truly have the courage, stop bombing helpless Afghan civilians and instead confront the group in Karachi, Lahore, Islamabad, Quetta, and Peshawar, where its networks are active. For any ordinary reader, the obvious question follows: if the group itself says it is inside Pakistan, then why is Afghanistan being bombed? Is this anything more than an attempt to hide failure? At the same time, the statement reinforces Afghanistan's long-standing position that its territory is not being used against any neighboring country. When Pakistan's intelligence apparatus cannot track armed groups moving across nearly 1,500 kilometers of its own territory from Bajaur to Karachi, it chooses to place the burden of that failure on another country. This exposes the deep crisis of credibility and intellectual weakness within Pakistan's military circles and much of its media. Rather than dealing with reality, they have built an artificial narrative around military talking points. It also lays bare the dangerous relationship between the military, the media, and the war economy. Pakistan's intelligence services loudly publicize every attack carried out by these groups to create an atmosphere of fear inside the country and fuel hostility toward Afghanistan. That climate is then used to justify larger defense budgets, preserve the privileges of the ruling elite, and maintain the military's grip over politics and the economy. But the question remains: do the military and the media have the courage to show the public this official statement from the very same group? Or will they continue presenting only the version of events that serves their interests? Read more 🔗 almirsaden.com/when-a-country…

The IEA's Air Force struck a key base of the Afghan Arbaki militia tonight in the Saranan area of Pishin District, Balochistan. According to intelligence information, around 46 men were present at the facility today. The group was led by a former criminal commander known as Bacha. The base had been established by Pakistani intelligence inside a school for Afghan refugees in the Saranan area. About twenty days ago, members of the Afghan Arbaki militia were transferred there from the Customs area of Quetta and stationed at the facility. In addition to carrying out espionage activities against Afghanistan, the militia members based at the center were involved in operating illegal checkpoints, armed robberies, and other acts of harassment against the local population. With the help of Almighty Allah, they met the consequences of their actions tonight.

In 1398, when forces from Wardak province were moving toward Nangarhar, Martyr Ahrar, who was also a trained and skilled mujahid in the laser section, made the decision to go. This was not simply a journey. It was the journey of a man who already knew where his final destination lay. Before leaving home, he walked around as if bidding farewell to every wall and every memory. He entered the unfinished guesthouse and said: "Don't stop the work. Complete the guesthouse." Then in a low but steady voice he said: "Don't tell anyone at home, especially Mother, that I am going to Nangarhar. My heart tells me that I will be martyred there." These were not ordinary words. They were the words of a man who felt the signs of his destiny. He set out toward Nangarhar. A week and a half later he called his dear mother. After the greetings he asked after the family, the friends, the relatives. He asked about the unfinished guesthouse. He spoke to her words of comfort and patience, the way a person does when the time for departure has come and they want to be a balm for hearts before the farewell. That was his last conversation with his family. His last greeting. His last asking after them. One of his companions tells the story: Ahrar held a special place in every companion's heart. He was a wonderful person, gentle in character, always in service of those around him. His manners, his warmth, and his sincerity were such that everyone felt he was their own. One day we received information that Daesh militants had established a base in the Zawa area of Khogyani. We moved there immediately and spent the night in a mosque. The next morning, Ahrar appeared unusually happy. He smiled and told everyone: "Today I will be martyred." He wrote the names of all the companions on a wall in his beautiful handwriting and said: "One of these names will disappear forever. That person will be martyred." Then he added: "I will be the one, Insha'Allah." Later, the clearing of houses began. We split into two groups. After clearing one house and while work on the second was still underway, Ahrar said: "I'm going into the next house." I called out: "Don't go alone. It's dangerous. We'll go together." But Ahrar had always been a man who moved toward danger rather than away from it. He did not take his companion's words and headed toward the third house. I was watching him when voices rose from inside. Ahrar kicked the door open with great force, broke it down, and the moment it gave way he opened fire on the enemy. Together with the bullets he cried out Takbir, his voice filling the air with cries of Allahu Akbar. I ran toward him, but before I could reach him, he was struck. As he fell, he shouted once more: "Allahu Akbar!" And then he drank from the cup of martyrdom. The dream he had pursued for years was finally fulfilled. Thirteen days later, his blessed body was brought back to his homeland. He looked as fresh and beautiful as though he were merely asleep. Villagers, friends, and relatives received him with tears in their eyes and buried him in the cemetery of his ancestors. The earth was silent, but the heavens knew that a traveler had finally reached his destination. May Allah accept his martyrdom and raise his rank. At last, this brave mujahid and devoted traveler on the path of truth achieved his lifelong dream and attained the rank of martyrdom on 1 Mizan 1398. Ahmad Farid Ahrar left this temporary world and returned to his Lord, but his name, sacrifice, and memory remain alive in the hearts of the people. Read more 🔗 almirsaden.com/the-life-and-l…

Al-Mirsaad's findings indicate that key ISIS-K centers and hideouts in Khyber District are located in the Shanko and Qamber Khel areas of Bara Tehsil, as well as in the Sur Ghar and Kamar Ghand mountain regions. These locations lie just a few kilometers from Hayatabad in Peshawar and other Pakistani military installations.

The Pakistani Military Will Deeply Regret It In recent months Afghanistan has shown a great deal of patience, making every effort to de-escalate the conflict with Pakistan and resolve existing problems through negotiation. It appears the Pakistani military intends to continue its destructive policies, seeking to resolve neither its problems with its own people nor its problems with Afghanistan. The Pakistani military continues its massacre of innocent civilians, women, and children. From this point forward, Afghanistan's response will not simply be retaliation. It will take action against every threat that endangers Afghanistan's security and stability, whether that threat comes from the Pakistani military itself or from the Pakistani military's proxy groups. Alhamdulillah, the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan (IEA) has the capacity to precisely target all Pakistani government objectives, in particular Pakistan's sensitive military targets and bases of Pakistan's proxy groups. Even a single miscalculation by the arrogant and conceited generals of the Pakistani military could cost Pakistan dearly, with highly sensitive military and civilian installations wiped out. Afghanistan will under no circumstances tolerate violations of its sovereignty or threats to its security and stability. Afghanistan knows where Pakistani intelligence went after the Munich Security Conference. Whose doors did they knock on among the fugitives, and why are they now reorganizing former fugitive arbakai forces in different parts of Balochistan? Afghanistan knows why ISIS is being reorganized in Kurram, Orakzai, Khyber, Mohmand, and Bajaur in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. Afghanistan knows what is happening in Chitral. Afghanistan is watching all these movements closely and has complete intelligence awareness of them. Whatever excuse Pakistan uses to bomb Afghanistan and massacre civilians, Afghanistan will ultimately strip Pakistan's military of that excuse and prove to the world that Pakistan is the real enemy of Afghanistan's current security, stability, economic progress, and self-sufficiency. We say once again, with full confidence: if the Pakistani military makes the mistake of another strike, it will pay a heavy price. And it will face bitter regret. Inshallah. Likewise, if the Pakistani military uses proxy groups to destabilize Afghanistan's security and stability, Afghanistan has far greater means in this regard than Pakistan does, and if we are forced to use them, Pakistan knows better than anyone else what will happen... Al-Mirsaad Receives Verified Information of Major ISIS Center Destroyed in Khyber Drone Strikes Al-Mirsaad has received information from verified sources that a major ISIS Khawarij center in the Qambar Khel area of Khyber has been destroyed in drone strikes, with a significant number of ISIS fighters killed. Reliable sources have confirmed to Al-Mirsaad that late last night, another key and concealed ISIS Khawarij center in the Qambar Khel area of Bara, in Khyber Agency, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, was completely destroyed in precise drone strikes, with a large number of ISIS fighters stationed there killed. Although the exact casualty figures have not yet been confirmed, sources say the strike targeted a key operational hub and hideout used by ISIS to plan attacks, completely destroying the facility. According to information obtained from sources, the ISIS Khawarij had established this hidden center in the Qambar Khel area to recruit fighters, plan attacks, and coordinate subversive operations across the region and neighboring areas. The center was also being used to provide training for ISIS fighters. As a result of the strike, all ISIS Khawarij present at the center were either killed or wounded. It is worth noting that this is not the first time ISIS centers in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and surrounding areas have come under attack. Al-Mirsaad had previously revealed in its documented reports that the group's most important center in the Jabbar Mela area of Khyber was destroyed in drone strikes. That center was reportedly run by well-known ISIS leaders, including Abdul Hakim Tawhidi and Gul Nazim. Likewise, in a similar strike on a major ISIS Khawarij hideout in the Shanko area of Bara, eleven ISIS fighters were killed on the spot... Read more 🔗 almirsaden.com/al-mirsaad-rec…
