I find it strange that Floette can Mega evolve at all given it's midstage, but something important to understand is that it's basically undead, which perhaps prevents it from evolving anyways, thus leading to the flower taking mega energy

I would agree that when I first saw it, I also wanted Floette to actually change instead of just the flower, but in terms of lore it does make sense (spoiler explanation below) Floette is not a fully evolved Pokemon and therefore can’t normally Mega Evolve. This is something that is specifically mentioned in game multiple times. Therefore, at least the way I see it, Mega Floette only having the flower change is a reflection this, and it’s also a reflection of Floette’s lore with the Ultimate Weapon, Ange, etc., because its flower is more or less the symbol for all of those things. Basically, the flower absorbs the Infinity Energy that Floette is unable to as a mid stage Pokemon, which creates the design we see. So purely from a design perspective, I would agree that it would be cool to see Floette change, and it was a little disappointing for such a unique mega, but lore wise, it totally makes sense imo.

I’m so sorry but this is the new worst Mega design out of EVERY Mega IMO. Never liked Floette,this was a chance to make it more epic,or at the very least just make its actual face or body a bit different…instead they just give it a bigger,more boring flower I havent beat the game yet and I know this is a Mega exists for the story, but it doesn’t matter. This design and its animations below is what we get and it’s just so uninteresting and uninspired. Sure it’s the same concept as Mega Kangaskhan…but worse. Only the flower Mega Evolves but the flower isn’t a pokemon, it doesn’t have a character or a face (or a good animation to demonstrate its own sentience). I get that it’s because it’s following the whole Floette line gimmick of just their flowers changing. But it’s just not good. I would’ve at least preferred that it evolved into Florges gained a new color and then its Mega would just gain this same flower🤷‍♂️ The shiny is bad too lol

@TE4M_STAR Leaving out PLA is a travesty because it definitely had the best climax(es) of all of these games.

despite all their faults the last 3 games have seriously had some of the best climax battles in the entire franchise

@soulsilverart My tier list. I haven't played the game yet so gameplay might shift some opinions. This is based on what I have seen of them so far. i think Mega Pyroar is so lazy, they didn't want to bother with a split gender Mega so they just made one that combined their hair.
