@eyeamwema @Srirachachau Cheapest apartment is $1,900 in San Fran, $20 an hour is ~$2,400 net at 40 hours a week. So it's certainly feed themselves OR pay rent. Can only pick one. Btw In N Out already paid $20. This is inflationary.

@Srirachachau I’m ok with paying $0.10 more for my burger so people can feed themselves or pay rent

@patrick_mooney @Tyler_The_Wise @Srirachachau And I suspect you're a dipshit that missed the point entirely. Wasn't about the business hurting, it's about how hundreds of businesses hurting ultimately nickel and dime hundreds from your wallet monthly. Newsom does a lot to cause that and many get that, just not you.

@Glockout3 @Deej33789734 @Tyler_The_Wise @Srirachachau That's because states like California pay nearly 2k monthly to homeless. That's more than $20/hr with food stamps. Jobless people fall off the unemployment rate after 6 months. The costs of California are BECAUSE of California. Not Trump, not Biden, Newsom.

@Glockout3 @Tyler_The_Wise @Deej33789734 @Srirachachau Nope. Minimum wage WAS $18.07, so less than 10%, with the full effect not even being seen. You're jumping the gun. Btw California pays nearly 2k monthly to be homeless. Nearly minimum wage. Lack of workers is due to cost of living, which this hurts, not lack of workers.

@Tyler_The_Wise @Srirachachau "Decent wage" Bro, rent is 1,900 a month for a closet and $20 is only $45k. They're making bank if they're renting out a mini fridge cardboard box. Not much more.

@RiskyChrisky I might be the only one, but I love them. On a carbine, it’s all I need. I never have to worry about batteries or breaking. Honestly, I don’t use it as a carry handle though. There, I said it. Feel free to pile on.

@kandicklamar @Tyler_The_Wise @Srirachachau You're intentionally obtuse because I said it's not the end of price increases considering they haven't even technically paid out any increase yet. I'm not sympathizing with any corp, you're just too braindead to understand how basic economics and want to argue with strawmen.

@kandicklamar @Tyler_The_Wise @Srirachachau Now you're putting words in my mouth. That few bucks for them lowers the value of better unsalaried jobs, increases cost for everyone, and is especially felt by people barely making it who are otherwise ineligible for government assistance. Intentionally obtuse on your part.

@BoBnfishy @Tyler_The_Wise @Srirachachau Due to increased costs, due to local measures, and due to lack of business, yes. Annual profits are public info and they aren't increasing despite this. $4k still doesn't make it livable in San Fran. There's a reason why it's a 90 minute commute to that an LA on average.

@AlmightyDeity @Tyler_The_Wise @Srirachachau Fast food companies are already doing that regardless of what they pay their employees. They will always exploit you and then make it seem like it's your fault for being exploited. That doesn't mean we shouldn't give the working class a reasonable chance
