This Sat 14 Sept we are offering FREE guided tours, including access to areas not normally open to the public such as our workshops, engine shed and signal box. Booking not necessary, places limited to 10 people per session and offered on a first come, first served basis. #HODs

On Thursday 13th June, the Schools Team at AVR welcomed Whittingham C of E Primary School to the railway. This was the schools second visit here, the children really enjoyed their visit! If your school would like to arrange a trip to the railway, visit alnvalleyrailway.co.uk/school-visits

We are delighted to announce that the new Newcastle Away kit advert was filmed entirely on location here at the Aln Valley Railway. The filming took place over 3 days and we were thrilled to host the players and film crew over this time!
