@TheNine13986429 @bjack2599514338 i always thought that "defying" the prophecy would not mean "doing something else than what it says" but rather "re-contextualizing what it says", so it could work (ex: "at last was the girl" could mean noelle joining the party, or ralsei transitionning (defying the og prophecy)

@bjack2599514338 Trans Ralsei being prophesied defeats the whole point of trans Ralsei in the first place. Isn’t it supposed to be about them choosing their own identity and making decisions about themselves outside of their predetermined role? If it’s in the Prophecy it’s completely facile.

Don't know if I like the idea of trans Ralsei being a dictated part of the prophecy

@chimeraAmbition I just view it as insulting to boil down something as (inspiration) 2 because it devalues that it's special. Every piece of art is. Deltarune is the only deltarune and homestuck isn't the same as deltarune.
