With nuclear? All it takes is one jeep. One jeepney's worth of nuclear fuel and then energy security is guaranteed for 18 months. And nuclear has zero carbon emissions, so it's safer and cleaner for both people and the environment.

Millions of tons of coal. That is how much coal is needed to run an average coal plant. Transporting this amount of coal is an incredibly hard task, one that can easily lead to a crisis when transport is critical.
