Our Drama department headed to the new Old Vic Backstage Learning Hub last week to learn how sound can be used in a performance! This was the last workshop for the Y10's as part of our residency. Congratulations to all students who took part in these amazing workshops!

We would like to thank everyone who took part in our Y13 Celebrations assembly and contributed to making this event such a special & memorable experience. We hope students enjoyed their journey at Alperton and we wish them the very best in their exams and future endeavours.

A big thank you to the Globe Players for delivering two amazing performances this week to our Y7 & Y10 students, an adaptation of ‘Macbeth’ and ‘An Inspector Calls’, which will support our students’ learning in English as they come closer to their end-of-year and GCSE exams!

This week we hosted a successful College Fair for Y11 & Y12 students. The event was both informative & inspiring, helping students feel more confident and prepared as they begin to plan their academic and professional futures. A big thank you to all our guests for coming!

Congratulations to our Y10 & 12 students who launched their 'Mini Magic' and 'ReFab' businesses at the Old Spitalfields Market as part of the Young Enterprise programme. It was fantastic to see our students networking and demonstrating their business acumen.

Thank you to all staff and students who celebrated #WorldBookDay last week. Staff put a lot effort in creating some amazing costumes & students were able to take part in fun & creative activities in the library to celebrate their love of reading and discuss their favourite books!

It was really exciting to see our students and staff setting off on their skiing trip to Italy this morning. Wishing them a wonderful week ahead and we’re eager to hear about their experiences when they return.

Our young people are our future — and it is truly inspiring to see the difference they make across our communities. Congratulations to all the recipients of the Jack Petchey Foundation Awards. Brent’s future is bright because of your extraordinary commitment and achievement.

Well done to our Y8 students for taking part in their first Young Green Briton Challenge! Students worked in teams and discussed key #environmental issues and how to come up with creative solutions to resolve them both at home and within our local community.

This week we hosted a very engaging #educational visit from Norwegian Schools as part of the London BI Module programme. It was a great experience gaining insight into each other’s schools and exchanging innovative ideas in #teaching.
