I'm seeing a lot of posts about Reform, Restore and Conservatives. Consider this. If Restore takes 7% of votes from Reform plus Conservatives take a few more, that is likely to let Burnham win. The consequences of that could be far reaching. He gets into Downing Street, enjoys a honeymoon period and calls a snap general election. If he wins, he will have 5 more years. That will destroy this country. It will be past saving. We cannot allow this to happen. Vote for the right of centre party with the greatest chance of winning. That is undoubtedly Reform. We must look at the bigger picture.

If reform aren’t careful they will have the same problem the conservatives had with Farage, trying to out ‘restore’ Restore Britain is not going to work

I’m no economist but this @reformparty_uk plan to scrap income tax, for overtime beyond 40 hours worked) to those earning bellow £75K will fall to pieces before Parliament gets back to business 1st June.

Reform UK have announced a plan to make overtime tax-exempt. I'm sceptical this makes sense - more soon. But an interesting question: if you were the Chancellor, and you were making a £5bn tax cut... what tax would you cut? What would have the maximum positive impact?

Jut for fairness, this does reflect what I found in Makerfield. Restore have much more of a presence on the ground than I was anticipating. Have to see if they can sustain it. But it's real.
