Unfortunately due to a mechanical issue on the vessel, we have to suspend service on the Oakland Alameda Water Shuttle for at least the remainder of today. We are so sorry to those excited to ride it. News on whether it can run tomorrow as soon as we have it.

Yesterday the President of Sonoma State University aligned the campus with BDS, a movement whose goal is the destruction of Israel, home to 7M Jews. Several other UC & CSU campuses are doing this more subtly. Sonoma State simply said the quiet part out loud. The mask is off. 🧵

@SFBART @bellachu10 Good, that would mean I don't have to pray my phone has enough battery at the end of the night to tag in/out of Bart. No idea why guys still limit the clipper card to one device, could easily let us have it on our phone and watch. Or, you know, keep our physical card active 🙄

@bellachu10 This exact thing is coming very soon with the Next Generation of Clipper. Latest word is that it will happen this year. You will be able to tap a credit/debit card at the fare gate.

When we were in Singapore we were able to take the subway or bus by simply pulling out a credit card and tapping the little machine. We paid a slightly higher rate than the locals without blinking. System specific cards are a barrier to transit use. @SFBART

there was a group of 4 tourists at millbrae going to SF theyre about to buy caltrain tickets to use bart, i show them to the bart machines tell them they each need an $3 clipper card and 5.50 fare each way or they can try to get a card on their phones for free they took uber

The use of these PC fans is an incredible innovation. I purchased a kit with 6 fans and two 16X25 Filtrete filters. It is quiet and very effective. It also does not take up very much floor space. Highly recommended.

@robwiss @LonnyGrafman Check out this beast of a CR box. That CADR to power ratio is mind-boggling. If any of your design students ever want to redo the solar-powered air filter, this would definitely be the way to go. Wouldn't even need an inverter for those DC fans.
