Yes, it's true at its core. During the 1919-24 Khilafat Movement, Indian Muslim women (from regions now Pakistan) sold gold bangles & jewelry to fund aid for Turkey's Ottoman Caliphate. Turkish gratitude for that support is well-known & often shared in such interactions. The video captures a real shop moment reflecting that bond.

Welcome to the context that Muslims in India have to face. In Muslim religion, it is absolutely okay, just like in the West, to eat beef and meat. But, since, Hindus in India don't like to eat beef or meat, they cry about it when Muslims do, and they not only cry about it, but they attack and kill Muslims over it as well.
