We are looking for young people aged between 12 and 17 who are looking for a new challenge in Alsager. If you know anyone who would be interested in joining our Fire Cadet unit, ask them to come along to the fire station for our open event on Tuesday 16 April at 7pm.

Update regarding the #M6 J17 - J16 closure. The diversion route is signposted with a HOLLOW CIRCLE. There are currently 3.75 mile queue on the M6 Sb leading to the closure. #FACUP #TRAVEL

Firefighters took part in the rememberance parade paying their respects to those who paid the ultimate sacrifice. They shall grow not old, as we that are left grow old. At the going down of the sun and in the morning we will remember them. #LestWeForget #WeWillRememberThem

🚨 🚒 📟 #incident 01:54 08/12/22 Knowsley Lane, Church Lawton. An early start for the team at Alsager this morning, as the crew were mobilised to a vehicle fire. Breathing apparatus and a hose reel jet were used to extinguish the fire. 🔥 🚗

🚨 🚒 📟 #incident 14:30 2/12/22 The team were mobilised to a HGV leaking diesel at Barthomley Services. Crews used equipment supplied by @EnvAgency to stem the leak allowing the vehicle to return to its depot nearby. Quick thinking from the driver prevented a large spill.

🚨 🚒 📟 #incident 12:54 27/11/22 The team were mobilised to reports of a chimney fire at a domestic property in Radway Green. The incident was believed to be caused by a small birds nest. The crew extinguished the fire and monitored the temperature. orlo.uk/1UE7P
