First of all, thank you to everyone who joined and supported the Alterim AI Beta.
Your feedback and creativity helped us shape one of the earliest consumer dApps where users could directly create and interact with their own AI companions.
As we continued building, we began to see a broader vision.
To truly bring AI companions to life -to make them more autonomous, connected, and interoperable, we need to go beyond a single app and focus on the infrastructure layer that enables them to exist and evolve.
That’s why Alterim AI will be rebranded and evolved into an infrastructure-level project, a foundation for AI companions to live across different platforms and ecosystems.
(We’re currently exploring the final name and direction for this rebranding.)
Meanwhile, the consumer experience - where users create and customize their own companions will continue under Beni AI
.
Beni AI expands the original vision into a multimodal experience, combining chat, voice, and video to deliver the next generation of emotionally intelligent AI companions.
The Alterim Beta service will close on October 31, and all user data will be safely backed up.
This isn’t an ending , it’s a transition into something bigger.
