The Alternate Oscars

Fair warning. The episodes might be happening less frequently. I’ve just been busy with college and work. But I am thinking of more bonus episodes. As always, DM me if you’re interested.

I want to return to a podcast eventually, be it as a guest or as a host. If anyone wants me on their podcast, come let me know, I would love the opportunity. I've loved being part of this community. Hope you're all doing well.

I started the podcast at a time when I was new to this, barely interacted with people in the real world, and was generally in a really weird place in life. Things have shifted for me, and while I still want to do something like this, I'd like to do things a little differently.

Hello, sorry for the inactivity. I'm here to say that for now at least, this podcast is no more, at least in its existing form. At the moment, I don't have the resources or the energy to put all my focus into this, between being in school and starting a new job.

Another thing I’d like to add: it costs me money to be able to use a platform to distribute the series, and starting a new college, I need to save my money. I’m considering a Patreon in the future. In the meantime, keep enjoying life! No matter what that looks like.

It won’t be forever. I will be sure to bring the podcast back up roaring eventually, but for now, I may need a break long enough to set my priorities straight. I’m forever grateful for everyone who’s guested on and/or listened. It means the world to me.

Heads up: I’d like to get more episodes out in the foreseeable future, but I’m also contemplating an indefinite hiatus. I’m realizing that at the moment, I’m not sure if I have the time and energy to put my all into this, especially with life changes going on.

Sorry for my absense. I've been going through a bit of an emotional whirlwind. I'd like to get back to recording episodes semi-regularly. No Christmas episode this year but I'm still hoping to commit myself to the 1998 episode and hopefully more along the way.

This podcast may go on a hiatus for a while after the next episode, just to make space for life changes ahead.

I also want to finish off the Jean Arthur miniseries. Let me know if you're interested!
