The moment Ben Atkins was inducted into the ⁦@NewportRFC⁩ HOF. There are many things wrong with the game in Wales, but nights like last night prove that when the Welsh rugby family comes together with common cause, it is still a huge force for good. 🙏🏉🖤💛

A privilege tonight to host The Ben Atkins Testimonial Dinner at Rodney Parade tonight for the former @NewportRFC back rower who is living with MND. Wonderful support from the rugby family from Gwent and beyond. Culminated in Ben being inducted into the Hall of Fame

Huge thanks to @NHS111Wales for fantastic and prompt treatment yesterday. Developed another case of cellulitis in my leg which in the past has led to me being hospitalised on a drip. An hour and a half after 1st phone call I was seen by a doctor at Royal Glam Hosp. 🙏

So very sad to hear of the death in Thailand of former Wales hooker Mike “Spike” Watkins. A lionhearted player and great character - the best captain I ever played under. The type of bloke I thought would live forever. RIP 🙏
