This piece of (mis)information likely started from me, and nowadays I’m not sure at all that’s what actually happened. The loop I’m almost 100% certain didn’t happen because what people said “it went back where it came from” I think was just its veering back eastward before dissipating. The only thing that could have happened (but we’ll never know for obvious reasons) is a brief stalling period

In a page on the @essl_ecss website, some interesting reports have been uploaded regarding the re-evaluation of violent European tornadoes via the International Fujita Scale, obtaining a total of 8 IF5 tornadoes across the continent. In this small thread I want to illustrate the Italian legendary trio essl.org/cms/european-s…

@PavanFederico00 If i remember, apparently this tornado slowed down and did a loop over one home, i don't know if that's true or not

The third and last occurred on 16 June 1957, right after another strong tornado impacted the village of Robecco Pavese (Pavia province). This one formed on the southern Pavia province hills and moved NW descending into the valleys south of Broni, impacting especially the Valle Scuropasso area. Here numerous farmhouses were destroyed, with at least a couple getting basically leveled, one having very thick brick/stone walls. The tornado then changed direction while roping out before impacting Broni itself. In its wake, 6 people were killed and at least 31 more were injured

The first occurred on 07 October 1884. This tornado developed in the Catania plain south of Mount Etna and moved northeast while growing from a rather thin tornado to a almost-half-mile wide column. The violent twister traversed the northern suburbs of Catania while causing massive damage, including trees ripped out of the ground and carried into the sea, solidified Etna lava blocks broken off and transported and the complete destruction of numerous homes, including some that had walls up to 1 meter in thickness. The tornado dissipated in the sea leaving 28 people dead and up to 600 more injured

@NotChilledOut In the documentary, the date (July 28, 1996) was shown in the Turtle Lake tornado footage

In the beginning of one of my all time favorite tornado documentaries: “Secrets of The Tornado” by Tomas Grazulis; This incredible tornado can be seen; apparently in Turtle Lake, ND. I do not know the year; but the shear otherworldly presence of this tornado deserves to be shared

HISTORY HAS BEEN MADE! Italy is, as of now, the European country (and really, correct me if I'm wrong, the only country IN THE WORLD outside the U.S.) with more than two confirmed F5/EF5/IF5 tornadoes. @essl_ecss did the hardest part of the job, but I'm happy to have been of help

@AlvaroIvan21 @essl_ecss It *could*, based on a single house, but we have too little information on it to be actually certain. IF4 is a very good rating in my opinion

The morning of Sunday July 4th of 60 years ago started in the worst of ways, as a nasty severe thunderstorm impacted the Lake Garda area extending to the Vicenza province, bringing large hail up to 10 cm and strong winds. 4 women were injured and crops and roofs were decimated

@PavanFederico00 Is this picture from Fiorenzuola d'Arda tornado or Torricella di Sissa tornado?

Turning east, the twister reached the highway north of Fiorenzuola d'Arda. People didn't recognize the thing as a tornado by how big and rainwrapped it was and drove right into it: 15 to 40 cars were lofted from the highway and thrown, one was found 0.5 km away. 6 people died

@TornadoWIS I'm pretty sure that Harper tornado was on May 12, 2004. Not May 29, 2004

Violent damage from the Harper, Kansas F4 tornado on May 29, 2004. This tornado was likely the strongest of a record year for tornadoes, with 1,817 confirmed in the US. Extreme tree and shrubbery damage was noted along the tornado’s path, suggesting F5 strength.

It’s a heavy KC-10. They filmed this video specifically to spoof the chemtrail people. We all had a good laugh about it. (I thought the jokes were funny at the time, but didn’t realize we were fueling legitimate psychosis in dark corners of the internet)

Still don't believe that we are being sprayed! Please watch this until the end... and show this to anyone who still wants to believe the comforting narrative that it's all just harmess contrails.. #WeDoNotConsent #CrimesAgainstHumanity
