@KnicksMemes Not worried with both teams, double bigs still couldn't secure big rebounds in the 4th, Pistons nothing without Cade. Knicks going to kill whoever comes out this series.
I really can't decide who I'd rather the Knicks play
Cavs can be SO dangerous if either or both of their guards play their best, and the twin bigs are a problem too
But the Pistons are more consistently good & would have home-court
@AlvinV146@KnicksMemes Even the possession before that when he flopped and didn’t get the foul and then threw the ball in the back court from the ground lol
The Cavs or Pistons will have just ONE day off before the Eastern Conference Finals.
The Knicks? They’ll have either 6 or 8 days to rest, recover, and prepare.
The Knicks have shown us all why to never bury them.
These last two games (barring a collapse tonight) have shown why they should be taken seriously in the East.
OG Anunoby as Knicks fall behind in first round 2-1 to the Hawks, losing Game 3 in Atlanta 109-108:
29 points game high
9-16 FG
4-8 three
7-7 FT
9 rebounds
4 offensive
0 turnovers
3 blocks
1 steal
@NBA_NewYork Give him the last shot! Why is he completely open on the last play instead of spotting up Mike Brown wants him to screen for Brunson? Look at how much space he has when Okongwu decides to crash the paint against Josh Hart.
KAT in Knicks 109-108 Game 3 loss in Atlanta to fall behind 2-1 in first round:
21 points
7-12 FG
1-3 three
17 rebounds game high
4 offensive
3 blocks
2 steals
+22 in 34 minutes game high
@IQfor3 Play would've been perfect if it didn't go to Brunson trying to score on oversized guards........ Kat was open and OG crashed instead of staying in the corner for an easy shot. Mike Brown disasterclass.
@KnicksMemes Mike Brown is so dumb, looking back at the last play he has OG crashing instead of staying in the corner where he would've been wide open for the Brunson pass.
@KnicksMuse Why does it always have to go to Brunson? Kat was wide open for like 10 seconds that play but Kat runs and screens for Brunson when he could've easily spotted up with all the space he was given.
@KnicksMemes Awful play calling again, how is Kat wide open when Hart draws two and his instinct is to go run and screen for Brunson? The call was to get Brunson the ball at all cost when Kat was wide open the whole play.
Knicks turned a big comeback into a choke
Went up 3, then gave up a second-chance bucket, had an empty possession with a chance to ice it, and gave up another bucket to go behind, followed by a pathetic possession to lose
Awful
They still SHOULD win G4, but the danger is real
A lot to dissect here. Kuminga guards Towns the whole way, keeping him off screens and out of the play the Knicks are trusting JB to figure it out.
He had OG open in the corner with 46 seconds left. Didn’t go there.
OG needs to make FTs. Brunson needs to be quicker vs. the blitz.
A lot went wrong down the stretch. x.com/StephNoh/statu…
@NBA_NewYork Deuce is not a ballhandler. I always preached he needs another guard that can dribble next to him instead Brown goes with Shamet when Clarkson also in the same lineup. Let Clarkson go downhill off curls and let him facilitate a little.
