@cesaralvarezll I think it depends on the ask. Asking too early for a full review can feel weird, but a lightweight prompt after the first small win usually converts much better.

Some people question asking for a review during onboarding. It sounds counterintuitive, but it works you catch users when they’re most excited. Most people only leave reviews when something goes wrong. If you want positive ones, you have to ask. This strategy got my iOS app to 59 ratings with 4.7 out of 5.

@steipete Honestly the wild goose chases are real 😅 When it starts going off track I just interrupt and reframe. Short, direct feedback works better than long corrections.

I never use plan mode. The main reason this was added to codex is for claude-pilled people who struggle with changing their habits. just talk with your agent.

Quick privacy pitfall for indie iOS devs: Thinking “no server = fully private”. Wrong. Even local data can leak via iCloud backups (if not excluded), screenshots, or app sharing.
