Isles fans and media aren't used to having good players so they're not used to the fact that #Habs fans boo the most elite players in the NHL in our building.

MTL's fan base might be the only one that doesn't like Schaefer. Even heard some "Schae-fer" taunting chants on top of the boos every other second.

@Spazemunky Dont think he deserves to be fired after one season. He didnt completely fuck over the future tbh. Kept the prospects and wanted to reward the team for their play. Problem is those players weren't the right moves and he really should have stood pat.

This right here was what darche should have done, not trade for schenn...or resign pagaeu. Should have stood pat and sold JGP. Sometime even when a team is doing something they weren't expected to do, you still stay the course

I know hindsight is 20/20, but I wish the Islanders would’ve just stayed put without making desperation moves. Because where does this leave the team right now? Down a 1st-round pick and two 3rd-round picks only to finish out of the playoffs and draft in the middle of the round?
