I'm hiring someone to join my team at Anthropic to lead Claude Code comms.
This is not a role for someone who wants to run an old playbook. You'll need to be a Claude Code super user, understand developers and dev tools, and have great taste. You'll work hard, learn a lot, and ship with the best people around.
Non-traditional comms paths welcome. My DMs are open!

OpenAI's Codex is becoming increasingly popular:
3x user growth and 5x usage increase since the start of the year, and over 2 million weekly active users.
The battle between Claude and Codex is intensifying, because, as Dario already said: being the best AI company with the best coding tool is the foundation for overall victory.

We've reached an agreement to acquire Astral. After we close, OpenAI plans for @astral_sh to join our Codex team, with a continued focus on building great tools and advancing the shared mission of making developers more productive. openai.com/index/openai-t…

@kimmonismus It’s kind of lame that they only allow people to use composer in cursor, but if it’s actually cost effective and usable with the $60 a month subscription without going over, could be a big W.
English

Cursors composer 2 incoming
- solely trained on coding related data
- much smaller model than competition,
- much less expensive
- rumors are that it’s about to be on par with Opus 4.6, but let’s see about that
Anyways, this is going to be big. Much smaller, cheaper coding agent on par with Claude will heat up competition slot (opus 4.7 forced to be released soon?)
„training Composer 2 solely on coding-related data — an effort that let it build a smaller model that’s meant to be less expensive to use. Unlike other leading AI developers whose tools are used for a wide range of tasks, Cursor’s model is designed purely for coding.“

@TheAhmadOsman I think ChatGPT and Claude should be switched since Claude isn’t a fan of using their oauth anywhere but in Claude products

@AlxCubed @kimmonismus The characters look 10x more detailed too. Are you drunk?
English

@kimmonismus Damn we get it, you want to go to another nvidia event 😂

@bridgemindai Your benchmarks are very outdated, in no world is 4o faster then 5.3 codex spark or gpt oss 120, which isn’t even mentioned here. This isn’t informative and it doesn’t help with credibility.

MiniMax M2.7 scores worse than M2.5 on BridgeBench.
M2.5 ranked #12. Overall 92.3.
M2.7 ranked #19. Overall 88.1.
UI dropped from 76.6 to 61.9.
Refactor from 97.3 to 90.7. Gen from 94.3 to 89.2.
#1 on Multi-SWE Bench.
#19 on BridgeBench.
That's a 18 rank difference between synthetic benchmarks and real vibe coding evaluations.
This is why BridgeBench exists.

@nocontextfm1 Dude has a very hard job and I think watching his interviews when fm 26 was coming out helps understand his situation better, but he's doing a great job all things considered.

@Dr_Singularity I think the whole bikini thing with grok and it being used in the military didn’t help its case.

Only 17% of Americans think AI will have a positive impact.
In China - 83% of people think AI will have positive impact.
What's going on?
Brad Gerstner@altcap
AI is deeply unpopular. According to Pew, sadly only 17% of Americans think AI will have a positive impact. In China, 83% believe AI will be positive. A token tax & political backlash is coming unless the narrative changes. 🇺🇸👀🧐

@JudgeTrippyGuy @kimmonismus It's the flat lighting plus the lack of awareness of how eyes work. This looks worse than it did before

English

@AlxCubed @kimmonismus The eye glitch is in Base Oblivion Remake, your picture quality is also super LQ atm, not really showing the immediate changes
