I like how in the Sonic games, Sonic is a static character who helps his friends grow and change. But in the movies, Sonic himself is allowed to grow and change while ALSO doing the same for his friends.

I love the implication that Metal Sonic's design is so perfect they basically didn't have to change him at all
Every other character has some slight adjustments to make them fit the movie style, but Metal? Just ripped straight from the games
