the way i am seriously considering cancelling my flight and driving this week because of how bad going through TSA is right now. The time spent in the airport would likely be almost comparable to the drive at this point!!

@littleapostate i let my mom and dad come visit, and that's it. but my mom was already there during the labor, and my dad basically sat in the parking lot in case he was needed the whole time 😂 everyone else came to meet baby after we were home from the hospital.

when you gave birth, did you allow family to come visit immediately? Or did you allow space for just you and your baby to bond? Or is it evil to want to space for you and baby to bond????

Toilet paper goes in the toilet, and I’m not going to argue about it with anyone. Having a trash can in the bathroom is unhygienic.

@clareanneath i think this is true if you're referencing actual "parenting" activities. there's less discipline and interaction and regulation involved but much more tasks to keep the human alive and also hormones, lack of sleep, etc made it feel way harder for me personally.
