The most surprising health lesson I've learnt over the years that if a part of your body is hurt/ broken, it will NEVER heal to its original state again. A fracture, a lasik surgery, laser treatment, teeth braces, botox, root canal; could be anything that seemingly offer "full recovery" solutions. Something will always click, tingle, be sore, pain at a certain angle; stay as a reminder of the pain/ illness. You need to take care of your body as much as you can, because what you were born with is the best it will ever be. Yes I know it's not groundbreaking science. It's not so common sense either though - because as a kid I thought a treatment is a perfect solution, and it has been interesting to learn that these "solutions" are still bandaids and come with their own further responsibilities and possibly lifelong caretaking.

If you want someone to like you, a tiny hack is to ask them for a small favour. This is even more potent than giving a compliment, because people tend to enjoy being useful and of help!
