Having a beard, some days you just want to shave it all off. Of course you don't, but the thought made me realize I've had a beard longer than I've had Twitter. Most of you haven't seen my whole face! So here is a thread of my stupid block head and actual face.

@Hive_Thrall The meta right now is so awful. Marathon has such great gun play. It's unfortunate that 90% of fights come down to grenade spam, bubble shield, double barrel, & melee.

hadnt played marathon in a couple days, log on to do some runs with the boys immediately get two inventories of grenades thrown at us shit needs to get dealt with. im already so tired of bubbles being mandatory as the only counter. i feel my desire to play drain everytime man

My friend got the gold BR and the gold volt thrower. I snagged some gold salvage and a gold sellable. The loot was great but getting revenge on a team griefing us was the real reward.

They pinged us with a tad 4 times. Were on comms asking other teams to join up with them. Sat over top of us for almost 15 minutes as we fought off multiple teams. Pulling off the perfect flank to kill the thief who tried to take our gold key with her drone was SO SATISFYING!

Just putting this out into the ether as I'm sure they'll never see it, but to the teams who tried to grief us on our Marathon Greenhouse Gold Key run last night, GET F*CKED, get absolutely sh*t on, you pathetic losers.

Some people are believing that means the shield gives you more hp, when it's about the damage the shield takes for you to repair it. I haven't seen anyone cover the topic yet and your video on consumables seems like the perfect pairing.

@CoolGuyGames do you know anyone who has covered shields in Marathon? I haven't seen it on YT. In our discord & online there has been a lot of misunderstanding around the reinforced shields in particular. I think people are mixed up because of the language (take half damage)

This weekend in Marathon was one for the books. I finished my final faction priority contract. I can equip all gold. Took a Gold HMG, pack, & shield off a player this weekend. We had some crushing losses along with some gigantic wins. The laughs & loot though will be remembered!
