AFW Flashback Friday - In 2015 AFW ELITE TEAM represented the USA in Milan after a week touring. It is believed to be the first time that HS football players competed together against the National 19U Team of Italy. AFW ELITE played together and well in earning a 73-7 victory.

AFW Flashback Friday - Case Western Reserve University 🏈has traveled with AFW three times and looks to return to Italy (Rome and Amalfi Coast) along with Athens, Greece in May of 2025.

Heartfelt appreciation to all of the Dads who have along with their son traveled with AFW or if one could not join the tour thank you for sending a great young man to represent our game and our country.

AFW Flashback Friday - A little over 10 yrs ago the Dubuque Spartans traveled to Europe combining a trip to NE Spain w/ time in Barcelona and a co-practice and crossed over to SW France for a friendly with the Toulouse Ours with a stop in Carcassonne @DubuqueFootball

AFW Flashback Friday - in 2014 AFW brought over the Ohio Wesleyan University Battling Bishops who were honored to co-practice with the famed Parma Panthers and then went on for a friendly with the Ferrara Aquile American Football Club. @OWUBishopFB @OWUFootball @ParmaPanthers

On the back half of their trip to Italy, the Kenyon Owls secured a convincing win against the Lazio Marines in Rome played in beautiful Tre Fontaine Stadium. @KenyonFootball

Kenyon College 🏈 had an ambitious day visiting medieval Siena then traveled south to visit the Vatican Museums upon their arrival in the Eternal City of Rome @KenyonFootball

In preparation for their game in Rome, Kenyon College 🏈 had an upbeat spirited practice before heading into Florence city center to enjoy one of the most artistically beautiful cities in the world. @KenyonFootball

North Park University finished up its foreign competition tour spending time in Lugano, Switzerland and in Como at the southern tip of Lake Como, Italy. @NPUFootball

Cinque Terra, the Five Lands consists of charming villages that sit at the base of, and in one instance on top of, steep cliffs along the coast. Kenyon College 🏈 explored some of the trails and also spent some time on the beaches @KenyonFootball

@KenyonFootball spent a delightful day in Cinque Terra along Italy's west coast. It is here where the Ligurian Sea waves in against beautifully authentic Italian villages which sit at the base of - or in the case of Cornelia on - steep cliffs.

Kenyon College 🏈 spent their first full day enjoying two lakeside towns in two countries - Lugano in Switzerland and Como at the southern tip of famous Lake Como in Italy - both glacial lakes surrounded by hillsides and cliffs. Dramatically beautiful settings @KenyonFootball

Post-game congratulations, laughter, story-telling - sometimes a little technique demonstration to help one's opponent from a few minutes earlier 👊🏼 - and exchange of contact information are always a very fun aspect of AFW international post-games. @NPUFootball

Kenyon College 🏈 has landed in Milan and after orientation to the city center then had free time for lunch and benefited from a late afternoon tour. All travelers are together and Day 1 of their first foreign competition tour 'in the books'. That's a W! @KenyonFootball

NPU defeat the Frogs Legnano in Milan, Italy - Video hilites. The Vikings set the tone for a convincing win starting late in the 1st quarter scoring their first TD overseas, recording their 1st INT, tacked on another score and the D comes up with a big 4th down stop @NPUFootball

Pre-game festivities for North Park Univ. vs Frogs Legnano were spectacular. USA Consul for Milan, Doug Benning welcomed and spoke to NPU student-athletes and the presentation of the USA Flag was most impressive. To our friends with @FrogsRulez Grazie Mille 👊🏼

North Park Football took full advantage of their day along the Italian coast with some fun and valued beach time in Monterosso Del Mar part of the exquisitely beautiful Cinque Terra area. ⁦⁦@NPUFootball⁩ ⁦

With the Apennine Mountains of Italy in the background, North Park University Football felt 'at home' on the turf as got pumped up when they held their pregame practice before heading to phenomenal Firenze (Florence) for the remainder of the day into the evening @NPUFootball
