Gaza today. This is not a natural disaster. This is an ongoing genocide.
A harsh winter bears down on displaced families. Heavy rain and flooding sweep away fragile tents, leaving hundreds of thousands exposed — their homes, livelihoods, and safety already erased.
At least 15 people, including three babies, have died from hypothermia in December alone. International organisations report the spread of disease and deadly cold claiming lives, while Israel continues to block the entry of tents, blankets, and winter supplies.
Over 1.9 million people are living in inadequate conditions with nowhere to shelter from the cold.
