Cloud verification = trust in a third party. Your data is sent off-device, processed/verified externally and you have to trust the platform not to tamper, leak, or change rules. Trust living in the machine though, that's trust in maths and local execution. The data stays on-device, verification happens at the edge and every action is provable, tamper-evident, and independent of a central authority For AI agents, that’s a big deal! Instead of “black box agent calls API and you hope it behaved”, you get deterministic, auditable actions with a cryptographic trail. In short: Cloud = “trust us” Machine = “verify it yourself”
