Nigeria started dealing with me from when I was a child. I would go to the market and pick cartons which I usually take to Oil Mill Market in Rivers State to sell. I usually sold them to people who sells chicken. So, one day after selling the cartons I made #14,000 and was very excited. Usually I would give my mom 10k from the sells and keep 4k for myself. That very day, while heading to the park at eleme junction to enter bus back to Oyigbo, I saw this people who spreads mat and places bottles with different prizes to win if you can throw a ring-like something to enter the bottle. I don't know how or why I became interested. I guess the prizes placed besides each bottle attracted me. I started with #200 and then #500. I would win and then lose. I was 13yrs then, nah so I blew the whole 14k that I had sold from cartons. I broke down there and started crying, people gathered and were asking me what happened, after I explained they said I have been scammed. One man who seemed to be working with those people later gave me 2k to use for transport. This was my first harsh experience of Nigeria.

Since then I've made a strong decision not to borrow a +234 babe money, cause they would rather tag you broke instead of taking accountability.

I could reminisce last year when I had this same scenario, borrowed a talking stage 20k to sort out urgent needs with agreement to pay back by month end, when it get to month end and she was yet to return my 20k I had few challenges at work so my payslip was withheld

Till further notice, had no one to run to so I message my talking stage for a pay back, and she was mad that I'm requesting for a pay back without knowing what I was facing, after several complaints she paid off and blocked me immediately
