Everyone must come together and raise their voice against the E20 petrol mandate. Users deserve a say in such a major policy decision that will affect their hard-earned cars and bikes, despite the heavy taxes they already pay on them.
@RayuduAmbati "I do believe that, where there is only a choice between cowardice and violence, I would advise violence... I would rather have India resort to arms in order to defend her honour than that she should, in a cowardly manner, become or remain a helpless witness to her own dishonor."

After the Arab Muslims repeatedly failed to capture Sindh in their attempts at an Is¡amic conquest, finally in 712 CE they launched a three pronged attacked on Dahar, king of Sindh. One by the sea, the other by land, and the third was via the Hindu Kush mountains. Dahar offered a stiff resistance, but owing to treachery of the local Buddhist population, Ibn Qasim, commander of the Is¡amic army, could conquer places like Debal, Nerun, Siwistan, etc.
Dahar fought valiantly from the fort of Raor for two days and was winning, when an unfortunate incident happened that decided the fate of the war. His elephant was wounded and ran away from the battlefield carrying him. The disappearance of the king caused panic and confusion; and despite the wounded king coming back soon, it was too late. Raja Dahar fought with desperate courage and finally he fell fighting the Islamic enemies.
His widowed queen then defended the fort with great valour until provisions failed. Then faced with the choice between death and dishonour (sex slaves/ conversions, etc), all men and women in the fort chose death. A huge fire was kindled in the palace courtyard, and all women and children threw themselves into the blazing flames. The men watched them all die, then threw open the gates and sacrificed themselves to the last man by fighting the enemy.
Not a single person was captured alive.
📍This was an unprecedented incident in Indian history as women and children had never committed mass jauhar in such large numbers to save their honour.
Raha Dahir’s heroic resistance to the Arab Islamic forces for many years (despite having a smaller army) is completely left out from our school text books.
@raghav_chadha Article 1 of the Indian constitution says – “India, that is Bharat", So, I don't see any need of raised eyebrows and ignited public debate.
