I am also grateful to @gatehouse_law, in particular @kirby_pj and @AmandaIlling, for encouraging my research pursuits. Since my work on the Yorke-Talbot Opinion of 1729, I have been able to produce a more detailed account of how English law treated slaves across various claims.

I recently submitted my thesis on the legal history of slavery under English law. Once marked, I hope to share my research findings based on an analysis of 24 cases between 1569-1772 (and outlining 27 cases between 1773-1834), including quantitative datasets on different claims.
