We are proud of Isaiah for catching 5 outs in Right Field, 3 of them back to back to back in one inning! It is so amazing to see how well they play together and their true camaraderie! If only my ISD had listened when I told the elected board about the data. There is the cost aspect & then more importantly the damage to learning. They ignored me & refused my data instead choosing to listen to the admins. In 2 years @FortWorthISD paid almost $64M of taxpayers money just to Apple. That doesn’t include what they paid for the Chromebooks & all the other tech, just $64M to Apple in 24 months. That’s over $2.5M a month.

💜Today was a beautiful day! It was a blessing to receive the Unsung Hero Award from my dear brother and Bishop, Vernal E Simms Sr. , and his beautiful wife, First Lady Simms! Kingdom Life Family Worship Center 💜I am grateful for my calling to serve as a teacher in our community and as an education and literacy advocate in our city. 💜I am beyond thankful to the Lord, to my husband , and family who always sacrifice for me to answer the call.

We are so incredibly proud of Isaiah for earning his Academic Sweater for North Side High School for the Class of 2027! 🤘🏻♥️ In order to earn this, you have to have a GPA of at least 3.8 by the end of your Sophomore year. Isaiah currently carries a 4.0 in his Junior year! This morning I was expressing to him how proud I was of him overcoming and achieving this honor, and he responded “I could not have done this without my teachers and you mom.” He is always so humble and with a kind heart!
