As much as we love our kids, we can't control that stakeholder group. All of our goals are set around them. When we start setting our goals around what we CAN control (the talent in the building), we'll find better results.

Teachers, you’re allowed to teach with joy. When you bring your passion into the classroom, it shows and it sticks. Teach the standards, yes, but do it in a way that lights you up. Chances are, it’ll light something up in your students too.

A special highlight today: A bus driver said he needed my help and I assumed to help a kid. Instead, he wanted to know when Hanukah is this year so he can wish his Jewish families a Happy Hanukah. Truly considerate and inclusive. Not sure how he knows I am, but glad he asked!
