@BreidenFehoko Any idiot who thinks he isn’t a 1st round project needs their eyes checked yes his floor is very low but his ceiling is pro bowler. A shame I admit that as a Browns fan it sucks to see a kid who grew up a season ticket holder go on to possibly win the Steelers a Super Bowl
A text from a Pittsburgh source on Drew Allar selection.
“We may have the steal of the draft in Drew. A once mocked top 3 overall pick just fell to us in the 3rd! We are ecstatic”
@AcidentalAimbot@JoshYohe_PGH He never even looked to his WRs! Dumped it to Warren without ever going through his reads. They went out and got him dudes last year and he didn’t get any better. Thats my concern, zero growth in year 4.
I’m a huge Drew Allar fan and watched him at Penn state for every start. The dude had ZERO wide receivers and felt like he always had to make the play even when he didn’t trust his receivers. In the ND game that every one is talking about. He only had completed passes to his Tight ends and Running backs. Every single ball thrown to a WR was dropped by said wide receiver
@backstagerave@You4mble@BleacherReport Allar has better arm strength but god that kid folds against any semblance of a defense. Will excelled against guys who are suiting up on Sundays
@NFL@NFLDraft@steelers@NFLPlus Steelers getting a QB with legit starter potential at 76? Yes please! Drew Allar is built for the NFL. Nice to watch him develop in Pittsburgh
@steelers I’m not going to be upset at this pick until I see what McCarthy can unlock from him. Not the ideal pick for the first one in the 3rd overall though.
The #Steelers add to their QB room, selecting Penn St QB Drew Allar at No. 76.
Aaron Rodgers has not yet committed to returning. Pittsburgh is open to dealing Mason Rudolph, and Allar joins (for now) QB1 Will Howard.
